WILDD provides one-on-one instruction whether at our Madison, Wisconsin, location for those clients who prefer to meet in person with their certified instructor, or online through WILDD GLOBAL™.
WILDD does not employ tutors, but instead uses highly trained instructors certified to provide academic therapy using the Carpenter Language Achievement and Strategies System™ (CLASS™.) CLASS™ is a unique form of scientifically researched and evidence-based academic therapy (SRBI) that works with the dyslexic learner’s brain, providing the tools necessary to create an independent learner. While we employ CLASS™ across the board, we also never use exactly the same program for any two clients. We develop personally-tailored plans that fit our client’s needs and educational goals. This ensures that each learner progresses at their own best speed.
WILDD’s standard practice is to establish a weekly schedule of sessions, two, two-hour sessions per week, lasting, on average, two years (or longer according to the client’s needs). The brain requires time to grow and change, but it does grow with time and sustained effort. WILDD instructors administer regular testing to track this change through progress reports. Clients often see real progress even in a few months. Some find they are doing more than they ever thought possible, opening up doors to opportunities they never dreamed of previously.
